Metlife invest for growth with eCommerce partnership - Focus Solutions agreement strengthens IFA customer service release date: 20/04/2011
MetLife is significantly expanding its e-commerce capabilities through an agreement with leading software provider Focus Solutions aimed at helping IFA partners to streamline sales and servicing in the run-up to the implementation of the Retail Distribution Review.
Focus Solutions will develop a multi-channel extranet solution to support the electronic sales and servicing of MetLife’s product range to IFAs through a strategic partnership.
The agreement will support planned expansion of MetLife’s product range and enable it to integrate with IFA distribution partners who also work with Focus Solutions.
MetLife has chosen the focus:360° life & pension extranet solution to support its Retirement Portfolio, Trustee Retirement Portfolio, Guaranteed Investment Bond and Income for Life Bond.
IFAs will be able to access direct and indirect online valuations as well as online quotes and applications. Companies working with Focus will be able on completion of the project to submit and service business directly through the software.

The Focus agreement follows MetLife’s agreement of 10-year strategic service contract with the Capita Group serviced through a centre of excellence in Belfast which delivers additional capacity for expansion as well as increased flexibility and resources to support MetLife’s commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
